We're funding a two-year programme called Building Resilience, which aims to help arts and culture organisations build their financial and business resilience.
Our providers are running four different programmes, focusing on different areas of resilience. These programmes are open to all kinds of arts and cultural organisations, including Music Education Hubs, Accredited museums and local authority library services.
Making the most of your assets and IP
Many organisations have access to a variety of creative assets and intellectual property - these can be extremely valuable, if used correctly. In this programme (run by City, University of London, in association with The Culture Capital Exchange and Manchester Metropolitan University) experts will develop support specific to your organisation, including a series of residential events, training workshops, online learning materials and hands-on practical support.
Applications are welcome from any arts or cultural organisation that has been practicing or trading for at least 5 years. The application deadline is Thursday 22 June 2017.
Fundraising and Revenue Diversification
Arts Manager International is running an 18-month teaching and consultation programme for up to 25 organisations. The Fundraising and Revenue Diversification programme has been designed to increase organisations’ capacity to generate revenue, with a particular emphasis on fundraising. Technical assistance will be provided in the areas of: long-term programme planning and development; programmatic and institutional marketing; board development; fundraising from individuals, trusts, foundations, and corporations; development of alternate earned revenues; memberships, fundraising events, and other revenue-generating mechanisms; and strategic planning.
The application deadline is Monday 31 July 2017.
Diversity and Entrepreneurism
The School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) will support 25 organisations to focus on diversity, resilience and entrepreneurism and how they contribute to a healthy and sustainable organisation. This learning programme will feature expert speakers, project visits, peer learning, tailored consultancy and a bursary of £5,000. The organisations will be supported to increase their resilience both at a personal and organisational level.
The application deadline is Friday 14 July 2017.
Change Creation is designed and delivered by people make it work. The programme will work with 25 organisations and 50 leaders who need industry expertise to enable their ideas for transforming their organisation and building resilience. The programme will provide change management workshops, a curriculum built around the individual change plans, insight, training, masterclasses and expertise to help each organisation deliver their change vision. Supported by 1:2:1 mentoring, consultancy, bespoke research and a community of change leaders, senior leaders will see their change plan put into action - both delivered and delivering.
The application deadline is Monday 17 July 2017.
